Friday 23rd Jan
Met up with Uyenigz and Lilderpz in Emporium and we shopped around for a bit before going to Andys apartment on Degraves St. I'm legit so fkn jealous of his apartment, the interior was so nice (wish I took more photos). Made me want to move out sooner alulz. After chilling there for a bit we walked to the bbq in Chinatown and had dinner there. It was ok, I got full really quickly and felt like I was third wheeling even tho I wasn't???!??!? Had dessert at Red Silks and that was such a big mistake. All the things we had ordered were shit, except for the lychee drink. We walked again back to the apartment, and then to Andys car where he kindly offered to drive us all home. It was a good and spontaneous night filled with many laughs!!!

Saturday 24th Jan
Trammed it to melb uni (ew) bc thats where Lanna had parked her car. Then she drove us to bamboo and we found parking legit right in front of the club. Were lucky once again because Lanna knew the owner of Bamboo so we walked straight to the front and also didn't need to pay for entry (felt like the biggest boss ass bitch). It was so packed but the vibes were so good. Music was pretty good as well and some random white guy shouted us abc shots (we legit ran away straight after taking the shot omfg). The owner of bamboo also shouted us shots. Basically it was a lucky night in general and I'm so glad I came out and celebrated my first n last bamboo!!! So sad we had to leave early tho cause Lanna had werk :(

Friday 9th January
Trained it to Thomastown where #GARY picked me up and then we headed all the way to point cook. for Wen's 19th. The weather was horrible, it was raining so hard. But luckily the party was indoors, and even though it was a small amount of people I still had so much fun!! There was a wide variety of alcohol and mk got fked once again hehehe

tasted amazing

Tuesday 13th January
We needed to buy a new couch and dining table for the house so my fam drove to Ikea. I swear Ikea is my most favourite place on earth lmao. It gives me so much inspiration for my future home but also makes me realise how ugly my bedroom is. We ended up buying a glass dining table but still have yet to buy a couch.

Thursday 15th January
Met up with Cindy and Lisa for a rly last min planned bday brunch. We had the $15 lunch deal at Fathers Office in the city and I reckon it was worth it!! Afterwards I met up with Lily and Uyen and we did some bday shopping. I don't really like kookai because its so mainstream now but I could not resist picking up a couple of their basics which were on sale!! Managed to spend all my money :((( Then at night I went to dinner with the fam at Yeonga near Queen Vic Market. It's a korean bbq and its probably the best one I've been to. I would definitely recommend their Seafood and tofu stew because I've had my fair share of korean stews (which is my fave korean dish) and I'm certain that this is the best that I've tried. Definitely coming back to try their other stews. I always love going to dinner with my family even though it doesn't happen that often, its a nice change of scenery eating and bonding in a different environment!

Friday 16th January
Went to work and then trammed to woolies to do some grocery shopping for me and Uyens bday gathering. Bought all the antipasto ingredients and a bottle of smirnoff and thankfully mum paid for it hehe. After shopping I went home and cleaned the whole house, it took longer than expected so people started to come when I was still doing my makeup :( Lil and Jeff were the first ones and then we started to set up the food. This was my fave part tbh, food presentation is so fkn fun lmao. Later on when everyone came we ate and watched movie trailers and did some karaoke. Dad was being a lil shit and he decided to embarrass Thao and I by playing our old dancing videos :((( I'm so thankful for having a group of amazing and trustworthy friends. (srsly thank you guys so much for coming and celebrating!!) We had pre drinks, blew out some candles, opened presents then quickly left for fantasy. It was such a good night, I chose the shittest outfit tho (was sweating balls). NEVER wear jeans and a fkn turtleneck to a club LOL. Left around 5:30am and it was morning and surprisingly I wasn't that tired. Uyen Koed when we got back to my place tho HAHAH. And having work 4 hours after coming home isn't fun at all.

When someone takes a pic of u n it turns out shit

Sunday 18th January
St Albans fest wasn't that great compared to previous years. Probably because the weather was so cold, yet some girls still managed to wear short shorts and heels #ded. Trained there with mk and soon met up with the rest. Food was pricey like usual and the ddeokboki was mediocre. The lines and crowds of people put me off buying some of the food. Tbs and lgs also put me off, I literally felt so old HAahah.

Monday 19th January
Went for brunch with uyenigz since she was in Richmond. They really need to open up more brunch places on Vic St, but luckily we found a cafe called Quint and it turned out to be pretty good!! I ordered the quinoa porridge and it was so nice, worked really well with the tartness of the rhubarb. Definitely coming back to try out some other dishes.

Wednesday 21st January
Second time going Night market this season and since the weather was hot, so many people had come out. I didn't feel like buying food, so I opted for a coconut instead. Also bought the novel Memoirs of a Geisha and I'm determined to get back into reading even though I'm rly lazy. I will always love the vibes at night market, it makes me feel so damn happy lel. Felt yolo towards the end so Lil and I decided to buy oysters even tho they're like double the normal price. Can confirm they tasted amazing n fresh as fk. The prawns were heavenly as well!!!! We did a quick korean grocery trip afterwards and I bought heaps of snacks that I've been craving.

ded

I totally ship these two now omg

lil skincare haul ^___^

Garnier micellar cleansing water: This is my fave product out of the haul and I can't believe I didn't buy it sooner. It was only $7 (on sale) but will last for ages since its 400ml. I put some on a cotton pad and it takes off all my face makeup and lipstick really well!!! Although, I still do like using my Loreal makeup remover for my eye makeup because it takes off my waterproof mascara more easily. Everyone needs this cleanser in their lives!!!

Toni and Guy dry shampoo and sea salt spray: The salt spray definitely adds texture into the hair, making my flat hair more volumised and easier to style! And the dry shampoo is really effective in removing any oil from second day hair. Other sea salt sprays I've tried have had a really heavy and strong scent but I love these toni and guy products since they have a really pleasant scent.

Avene thermal spring water: This spray has been a long time favourite of mine. It can set your makeup or you can just use it during the warmer weather to feel more refreshed and to soothe the skin. It's also good when travelling, especially on the plane when your skin gets really dry. I basically used this all the time while I was in Vietnam.

Grace Cole tea tree and witch hazel scrub and moisturiser: I needed a new exfoliator and moisturiser bc I've run out for a long time. I decided to pick these up because I've heard tea tree and witch hazel is rly good for your skin??!!!! This brand is from England and what made me buy it was that it was against animal testing and is also paraben free! So far I'm really enjoying the scrub, the fine beads makes it feel like I'm getting deep into the skin, and the moisturiser absorbs fast and doesn't leave ur skin feeling greasy.

(my attempt of being a beauty blog ahahhahahahha ffs)
Sunday 4th Dec
Ran some errands and did a bit of shopping with Julia. We went to Woolies and luckily her friend was working, so what was supposed to be a $30+ shopping trip ended up only costing $8!!!!!! (thnx khoi). Also went to Chemist Warehouse and I bought new skincare and the photo ready powder which I've been meaning to get for ageeesss. We then went into the city and I bought my very first pair of sneakers which aren't black, was such a bargain as well!!! Also bought pale pink Joni jeans from Topshop which were on sale as well. Ffs all these sales are making me broke. We ate at kitchen workshop in Emporium and the udon noodles were such a disappointment. The broth was so fkn bland and lacked flavour.

Monday 5th Dec
Had my first official shift at Sumosalads and I loved it!!!! I'm not looking forward to the earlier 7am starts tho :( Afterwards I went home and then lilfrey drove us into the city. We went to the doctors and then did a little bit of shopping. I rly rly RLY need to get my hands on the black topshop cigarette pants omg. Then we headed to Rooftop bar and it was so packed but I loved the vibes and the weather was perfect. I ordered the BBQ bacon burger and it was probably the best burger I've ever eaten. Soon much better than fathers office burgers. And cheaper as well!!!

Tuesday 6th Dec
Went to work and basically spent the whole day alone bc my sisters in Queensland and my parents went out.

Wednesday 7th Dec
Lilfrey picked me up and we went to Vic Gardens. Everyone was undecided about where to eat so we just left to go to Chelsea beach. The weather was disgusting in Richmond, it was humid and hot but pouring down with rain. Luckily it wasn't raining on the beach, it was actually rly rly hot when we got to Chelsea. Its probably one of the best beaches I've been to in Melb, the water was so nice and clear. Met up with #Duyen and we sunbaked and blasted hardstyle on Jeffs speakers. Ppl complained but we didn't give a shit and they ended up moving spots lulz.
Random person: Can you turn your music down we're trying to sleep
Jeff: No one goes to the beach to sleep
AHAHAHHAHAHA
We went to mums afterwards and it was such a good feast. Could only finish half of the mums pack tho.
